This classic concert tee marks the 1979 Tour of the Americas by the rock band Yes. It's seen a ton of loving over the years rendering the shirt super thin, buttery soft, and perfectly worn-in. Features awesome graphics and a classic ringer style for the old school rocker vibe.
Tour of the Americas was probably to promote the band's live album Yesshows- which showcases a collection of recordings from their tours between 1976-1978. Seven songs from five different concerts were compiled together and featured on this album. They included "Gates of Delirium" and "Ritual" recorded at Cobo Hall in Detroit in 1976 and "Time and a Word" and "Don't Kill the Whale" recorded at Wembley Arena in London during the Tomato Tour.
Yes was formed in 1968 by Jon Anderson, Chris Squire, Peter Banks, Tony Kaye, and Bill Bruford. Some of their most successful albums include The Yes Album, Close to the Edge, and Fragile featuring their famous hit "Roundabout". As the band's popularity rose they became renown for their legendary live performances with elaborate stage sets and light displays.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. Distressed, very soft and thin, stains, holes, and wear around the collar, see pics.
