This awesome vintage kid's tee is a super rare find from the 80s that pays tribute to one of the most beloved Star Wars characters, whose popularity easily outweighs his screen time in the original trilogy. This shirt is designed to resemble the armor worn by Boba Fett and its perfect for a simple children's costume or closet cosplay.

Boba Fett is a notorious bounty hunter and supporting antagonist that was featured most notably in the original Star Wars trilogy, although the character surprising made his first appearance in the Star Wars Holiday Special in 1978. This shirt is from 1980, the year that Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back was released. In the movie, Boba Fett immediately cemented his status as one of the coolest Star Wars antagonists by helping Darth Vader to capture the slick and daring smuggler Han Solo.

Despite Fett's limited involvement in the original story line, he quickly became a cult figure among fan's who felt that he exemplified both "danger and mystery". This spurred creators to feature him in various other films, books, comics, and television series.
