This light pink vintage shirt is for the Australian rock star Rick Springfield from his 1984 World Tour. During 1984, Springfield released two albums. The first one was Hard to Hold, which acted as a soundtrack to the film of the same name. The movie was intended to help Springfield break into the film industry, as the musician had previously created a solid television acting career. He starred in the Larry Peerce film alongside Janet Eilber and Patti Hansen. The resulting soundtrack made it to the number 16 spot on the Billboard 200 and included the single "Love Somebody".
Springfield's second album that year was Beautiful Feelings, which was actually recorded back in 1978. Mercury Records chose to release the album at the height of Springfield's career with the musical portions re-recorded without his involvement. The album included the song "Bruce" which had previously failed to chart back when it was first released. The song was a humorous nod to how the musician was often mistaken for Bruce Springsteen, and during this second release the song made it to the number 27 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
Fits like a modern unisex adult extra small. There are several tiny holes on the back, see pics.
