This awesome cropped band tee was made back in the 80s and it reps the band Y&T to celebrate their 1985 Open Fire Tour. The tour resulted in the band's first ever live album which was released the same year. The Open Fire album did feature a single studio track, which was the group's hit song "Summertime Girls" that became arguably their most well known song as well as their only song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Open Fire spent 17 weeks on the Billboard 200, peaking at the No. 70 spot. The group released a second album before the end of the year though, Down for the Count which also included a recording of "Summertime Girls".

The mid 80s was the peak of Y&T's popularity. They had been invited to participate in the 1984 edition of Monsters of Rock, which brought them a level of exposure the band previously hadn't experienced. "Summertime Girls" received heavy airtime on MTV and was also featured in media like Baywatch and the Val Kilmer movie Real Genius. Y&T was also invited to tour alongside beloved heavy metal groups like Motley Crue and Aerosmith. Despite all this success, the group felt neglected by their record label A&M and switched over to Geffen Records in 1986.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt is a half shirt and the sleeves and bottom have been cut.
