This awesome concert t-shirt is a keepsake from the 1995 edition of the iconic Lollapalooza music festival, which originally began as a touring event back in 1991 and later evolved into a four-day festival in Chicago. When Lollapalooza was first conceived, it was intended to act as a farewell tour for the alternative rock band Jane's Addiction. Overtime it became a much anticipated annual event, centered around showcasing acts from various musical sub-genres like alternative rock, heavy metal, punk, hip hop, and electronica.
The 1995 fest had an awesome lineup that consisted of Sonic Youth, Hole, Cypress Hill, Pavement, Sinead O'Conner, Elastica, Beck, The Jesus Lizard, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Coolio, Doo Rag, Possum Dixon, Poster Children, Yo La Tengo, Brainiac, Geraldine Fibbers, Laika, The Dambuilders, The Coctails, Tuscadero, The Pharcyde, Built to Spill, Redman, Helium, Dirty Three, Versus, Mike Watt, Blond Redhead, The Zeros, The Roots, Moby, Superchunk, Patti Smith, Psychotica, Spring Heel Jack U.S.A., Dandelion, Polyphemus, Gary Young's Hosptial, and Incredibly Strange Wrestling.
Fits like a modern unisex adult over-sized medium. There is a repair on the sleeve and spots along the bottom, see pics.
