This awesome kids tee is for the franchise Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and it features a graphic on the front of the turtles as they're depicted in 1987 animated television series. The turtles consist of four brothers who are all pictured on the tee, Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo, and Raphael. The four teenage crime fighters live in the sewers of New York City and they gained their humanoid forms after they were exposed to some radioactive ooze.

TMNT actually started as a comic book series written by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The concept was originally intended to parody several elements found in popular superhero comics around the time. From there the turtles were developed into action figures, cartoons, video games, and they even got their own live action movie in 1990, the same date as the copyright on this shirt.
