This cool vintage tee is for a radio station in Sacramento, California. 14K, or 1470 AM, started playing oldies "greatest hits" in 1980. Before that, the station was playing a blend of oldies and adult contemporary. 14K was particularly popular during the late 50s and early 60s. The station became known for doing frequent giveaways, and at one point even began doing contests daily, every hour. Eventually, the station was sold to Disney and then to a foreign media company.
