This double-sided tee is from the Nauset Surf Shop in Orleans, Massachusetts and it features the logo for Nauset Sports on the front and a beautiful sunset beach graphic on the back. Nauset opened in 1965, and  proudly touts itself as Cape Cod's oldest surf shop. For most of the business' history, Nauset was owned by Phil Clark, who bought it when he was fresh out of college in 1970. For many years Nauset has prided itself as the perfect place for local surfers to grab their bikinis, wax, and boards.

This shirt comes from the 1980s, when Nauset expanded their realm slightly, renaming themselves to Nauset Sports. The name stuck for about two decades, and many patrons from the 80s and 90s, still refer to the shop as Nauset Sports. During this period the shop wasn't just a place to grab surf gear. Customers could also come in to purchase anything from baseball gloves to hockey sticks to cleats of all sizes and sports.
