This cool shirt is a souvenir from Ocracoke, North Carolina. Ocracoke is an island in the Outer Backs of North Carolina between the Pamlico Sound and the Atlantic Ocean.

Ocracoke Island was the location where the pirate Blackbeard died in 1718. Blackbeard anchored his vessel, the Adventure, between the Ocracoke Inlet and what is now known as the Teach's Hole Channel.
