This sweet vintage tee is from a fundraising event that was organized by KFI AM 640, a southern California radio station that's based out of Los Angeles. This tee commemorates a Jello Jump held by the station to benefit those affected by Retinitis Pigmentosa, a genetic disorder that leads to the loss of vision. A Jello Jump is exactly what is sounds like, an event that requires participants to take a dip in the popular gelatinous dessert.
Jumpers don't just take the plunge for fun. Usually people are invited to take a dive in the hopes of finding some kind of hidden token that entitles them to a fabulous prize, most often a new car. The KFI Jello Jump was held at Castle Park in Riverside, California and it was goofy way for the local radio station to raise money for charity.
Fits like a modern unisex adult large. This shirt is soft and thin with spots on the front and a run on the backs, see pics.
