This awesome shirt celebrates the German hard rock band Scorpions and their 1988 tour of the US. The tour was designed to promote their tenth studio album, Savage Amusement, which peaked at the number five spot on the US charts. Scorpions were originally founded in Hanover in the mid 60s, but they experienced most of their commercial success during the 1980s. During that era, the band was composed of their longest-running lineup, which included Rudolph Schenker, Klaus Meine, Matthias Jabs, Francis Buchholz, and Herman Rarebell.
During the promotional tour for Savage Amusement, Scorpions became the second western group outside of the US to ever perform in the Soviet Union. They also returned the following year to play the Moscow Music Peace Festival, which solidified the group's strong Russian fan base.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There is a hole on the right side when wearing, see pics.
