This cool vintage shirt promotes the 1964 musical comedy film, A Hard Day's Night, which starred the Fab Four, The Beatles. The movie portrayed 36 hours in the lives of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, as the band prepared for a televised concert event. The movie was released during the height of Beatlemania, and it was a huge critical and commercial success that inspired the wave of London spy thrillers from the 1960s as well as The Monkees' television series.

The movie was released in conjunction with the Beatles' third studio album, also titled A Hard Day's Night. Both the film and the album included tracks like "If I Fell", "And I Lover Her", "Tell Me Why", "Can't Buy Me Love", and of course the title song. While the movie earned two Academy Award nominations for the screenplay and the score, the album made it to the top of the charts in several different countries.
