He signed with Atlantic records in 1975 and proceeded to release 12 consecutive albums including Aurora, Imaginary Voyage, Enigmatic Ocean, and Cosmic Messenger. Ponty also performed with the Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble, the Radio City Orchestra, and the symphony orchestras in Toronto, Montreal, and Oklahoma City.
