This awesome tee is for the Philadelphia Folk Festival, a beloved annual tradition that dates back to the 1960s. Presented each year by the Philadelphia Folksong Society, the event helped contribute to the resurgence of folk music during its early days. For years, the festival has been held outside the city at Old Poole Farm in Montgomery County. Attendees are invited to camp on the grounds and enjoy three days of live performances. This shirt commemorates the 25th edition of the event, held in 1986. The tee lists that year's participating musicians, which included Tom Paxton, The Greenbriar Boys, Doc Watson, Judy Collins, Corky Siegel, The Junior Wells Blues Band, The Buzzard Rock String Band, Gamble Rogers, and Elizabeth Cotten, just to name a few.
Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. There are some small holes, see pics.
