This awesome packaged tee pays tribute to the sci fi comic book hero Halo Jones, the titular star of The Ballad of Halo Jones, which was first published in the weekly British comic anthology 2000 A.D. This was the same comic magazine that gave birth to the iconic Judge Dredd series, and Halo Jones was an early standout in the career of the acclaimed comic book author, Alan Moore, who later came to be known for titles like Watchmen and Batman: The Killing Joke. Meanwhile, Judge Dredd artist Ian Gibson was responsible for creating the artwork.

This shirt features the black and white version of the cover image used for the debut issue of Quality Comic's run of Halo Jones. During the 80s, the publishing company Quality Communications brought several 2000 A.D. titles to the US market through their brand Quality Comics. These colorized reprints covered Moore and Gibson's entire three book-long saga of the character. The story was actually never continued beyond those original three books however, as there was a dispute over who owned the intellectual property rights to the character.

The cover image showcased here was drawn by William Maher, and it features the tagline "Halo Jones- Your Destiny's Calling".

Marked as a unisex adult medium. This shirt comes new, unworn and sealed in a package. Because of this measurements cannot be provided, and this shirt is not eligible for returns.
