This sweet, super soft ringer reps Mickey Mouse, the beloved animated mascot of the Walt Disney Company. This tee was made around the 80s, a decade that saw two new parks added to the Disney World Resort complex in Florida. The decade kicked off with the introduction of Epcot in 1982, and it ended with the opening of what would come to be known as Hollywood Studios in 1989.
Meanwhile Mickey wasn't seen much in the 80s, aside from the animated featurette Mickey's Christmas Carol, and a small cameo in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Instead, Disney used this time to dabble in more content aimed at older audiences. They founded Touchstone Pictures and released their first ever R-rated film, Down and Out in Beverly Hills. Disney also produced their first PG-13 movie during this time, which was Adventures in Babysitting.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt is very soft and thin with some fading around the collar, see pics.
