This awesome double-sided tee pays tribute to the Latin pop sensation Ricky Martin. The portrait featured on this tee is the same one that was used for the album cover of Martin's 1999 self-titled release. By this point in time, Martin had already gained significant success among Spanish-speaking music fans, but this 1999 album was his first record to feature primarily English songs, and it helped the singer to tap into a whole new market. The eponymous album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200, and it spawned what became arguably Martin's best known single "Livin' la Vida Loca". 

The year after its debut, Martin embarked on a worldwide promotional tour for the record, and the Livin' la Vida Loca Tour, as it was dubbed, became the highest-grossing tour of the year by a Latin artist. Not only that, but within three months of the album's release, it became the best-selling record to ever be released by a Latin artist. Ricky Martin helped usher in the "Latin explosion" of the turn of the century, which opened the doors for artists like Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, and Enrique Iglesias.
