This amazing vintage tee is for the seminal 90s alternative rock band, The Smashing Pumpkins. The shirt comes from the early days of the group and it features lyrics to their song "Starla" which first appeared as a b-side on their debut single "I Am One", although "Starla" was only featured on the Gish CD version and UK vinyl releases of the single. The US version of "I Am One", released by Limited Potential Records, has since become a coveted collector's item, as only 1500 copies of the record were pressed.

This shirt is copyright 1992, just a year after the band's debut album, Gish was released. Upon its debut, Gish just barely managed to chart on the Billboard 200, but since then the record has been ranked among the greatest rock albums of the 90s. Critics were impressed with the record, and alternative rock was growing in popularity thanks to bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam. This stirred significant interest in the band's next release, Siamese Dream, which became a massive breakout success. This second album would become certified 4x platinum and it featured notable singles such as "Cherub Rock", "Today", "Disarm", and "Rocket".
