This cool vintage ringer reps the California State Fair, a beloved annual event designed to showcase the best of the state's industries and agriculture. The fair has been held nearly continuously since 1854, and it's been hosted at the Cal Expo fairgrounds in Sacramento since the late 60s. The back of this tee mentions a business called Ed Hansen & Associates, who may have exhibited or helped sponsor the event. Ed Hansen was a Hollywood writer and director who primarily worked on erotic films and sex comedies, although he got his start in the industry in advertising.
