This sweet shirt features a portrait of the beautiful Pia Zadora, a singer and actress who landed her first film role at just nine years old. Although Zadora entered show business at an early age, it wasn't until after she met her husband, Meshulam Riklis, that her career took off. Riklis' wealth and influence allowed better opportunities for Zadora, including a job as the spokesmodel for Dubonnet wine and her own marquee show at the Riviera in Las Vegas.

This shirt was made in the 80s, around the time that Zadora starred in the 1982 film adaptation of James M. Cain's novel Butterfly. While the plot garnered controversy due to the inclusion of incest, the movie earned Zadora a Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year. This was also around the time that she started recording music, and in 1983 she scored a top 40 hit with her cover of Shirley Ellis' "The Clapping Song".
