This awesome pocket tee was made by the Disney Store and it showcases graphics from the original George of the Jungle animated series created by Jay Ward and Bill Scott, the same duo who made The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle. It's safe to assume that this shirt was made to promote the cartoon's live action film adaption, which was released by Walt Disney Pictures in 1997.

The movie starred Brendan Fraser as the titular character, opposite Leslie Mann, Thomas Haden Church, Richard Roundtree, and Holland Taylor. Meanwhile, Monty Python alumni John Cleese provided the voice of George's simian sidekick, Ape. While the movie did feature several scenes with live animals, all of the large gorillas that appeared were portrayed by costumed actors. The gorilla suits were all provided by Jim Henson's Creature Shop and operated by Henson puppeteers.
