Rhyme Syndicate was first formed in 1987 by the rapper Ice-T, who wanted to bridge the gap between the East and West Coast hip hop scenes. He created the label Rhyme $yndicate Records and released the group's debut album Rhyme Syndicate Comin' Through in 1988. That initial album featured artists like The Spin Masters, Domination, Everlast, Toddy Tee, Donald D, and Low Profile, but later members also included DJ Aladdin, Divine Styler, Lord Finesse, Randy Mac, and Hen-Gee.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. The outer sleeve from the shoulder to the cuff measures 22 in.
