This awesome tee features an elephant graphic that includes the caption "forget the herd". This sweet shirt promotes the monthly skate magazine known as Slap. Launched in 1992, Slap was born from the wildly popular Thrasher, and it was conceived by founder Fausto Vitello and editor Kevin Thatcher. The pair had the brilliant idea to create their own competition, and so they recruited Thrasher's youngest employee, darkroom technician Lance Dawes. Dawes continued to serve as Slap's editor-in-chief for several years, and other contributers included notable members of the 90s skate scene such as John Trippe, Joe Brook, and Dave Schubert. Although Slap was discontinued in 2008, the magazine continued to maintain an online presence, and their online message board became a popular place to discuss the latest skateboarding news.
