This awesome shirt is for the California-based gothic rock band, Switchblade Symphony. The group was formed by composer Susan Wallace and vocalist Tina Root, and they were active throughout the 90s. Switchblade Symphony emerged amidst the goth resurgence of the 1990s, and the group became known for their dark visuals, somber lyrics, and industrial beats that coincided with the developing gothic metal genre.

Starting with Serpentine Gallery in 1995, the band produced three studio albums before disbanding near the end of the decade. One of their most notable singles came from Serpentine Gallery, and it was the song "Clown". The track was used on the soundtrack for the 1998 thriller Wicked, which featured a young Julia Stiles in her first starring role.
