This awesome tee was made to promote Morninglory Music, a record store that used to be found in Isla Vista, California. Morninglory Music was opened in 1969, by a University of Santa Barbara student, Stan Bernstein, not far from the school's campus. The music store was a hidden gem, that drew in customers with their impressive up-to-date collection and knowledgeable staff.
This shirt was made during the early days of the shop, in the 70s. Around that time psychedelic rock, glam rock, prog rock, funk, and R&B reigned, and Morninglory was right at home alongside businesses like the Magic Lantern art house theater and the Red Lion bookstore.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There's a repair on the back of the right sleeve when wearing, see pics
