This awesome shirt commemorates a 1979 concert tour from the Welsh guitarist Dave Edmunds. Known for drawing inspiration from rockabilly and blues rock, Edmunds was a notable pub rock artist who released several hits throughout the 70s and 80s. He started playing and performing at a young age, and fronted his first band when he was just seventeen.
In 1979, Edmunds released his fifth solo album Repeat When Necessary, which was released through Led Zeppelin's label Swan Song Records. This album featured notable covers of "Crawling from the Wreckage" by Graham Parker and Elvis Costello's "Girl Talk". At this same time, he was performing with the band Rockpile, which consisted of Billy Bremner, Nick Lowe, and Terry Williams. The band backed Edmunds on Repeat When Neccessary, and they also helped record Lowe's solo album Labour of Lust, the same year.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. The print is off center, see pics.
