This deadstock vintage band tee features the 70s rock band, Ruby Jones, formed by Ruby Starr, members of B.G. Ramblers, and Pete and Nick Mousoulias. Signed to Curtom Records, Ruby Jones released their first album in 1971. The group primarily played shows in the Midwest, around Ohio, Michigan, Illiinois, and Indiana. They opened for Black Oak Arkansas, when their lead vocalist, Jim Mangrum offered Ruby Starr a position in their group. Starr went on to tour with Black Oak Arkansas for several years.
This fits like a modern unisex adult Small. It has small holes near the graphic, but appears to be unworn/deadstock.
This item is from the estate of Craig MacGregor, the bassist for the band Foghat in the 1970s, 80s, and again in the 2000’s. The item was owned by Craig, a collector of t-shirts, and stored for some time in a basement before it came into our possession. As a result there may be some lingering basement odor. All items are authentic pieces of rock and roll history and in many cases are one-of-a-kind. Further authentication and chain-of-custody can be provided upon request.
