This sweet vintage concert shirt was made for the band Corrosion of Conformity during their 1991 Blind Deaf Numb Tour, which was launched to promote their album Blind. This was the band's third studio release, and it marked a transition away from their crossover thrash roots and towards a more straightforward metal sound. Not only did this album mark a change in sound, but it was also the band's first release in six years. Along with that, Blind marked several lineup changes for the band. It wound up being the only record to feature Karl Agell on vocals, and the only record to be devoid of the group's original bassist and vocalist, Mike Dean.

The origins of the band can be traced back to the early 80s hardcore punk scene of North Carolina. During their early days the group took inspiration from metal bands and hardcore bands alike, siting influences such as Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Black Flag, and Minor Threat. It wasn't until Blind was released, that the band became known more as a metal group, and the it was also during this period that they attracted the attention of Columbia Records, who signed Corrosion of Conformity in 1993.
