This cool vintage tee is a keepsake commemorating the English musician Elvis Costello and his 1994 Brutal Youth tour. Brutal Youth was Costello's first album in nearly a decade to feature his backing band the Attractions. Following a split from the band due to creative differences, Costello performed as a solo artist during the late 80s and early 90s. He released several, successful albums that saw the prolific artist experiment with new sounds such as his classical music collab with the Brodsky Quarter on The Juliet Letters. Brutal Youth was a huge success, peaking at number two on the UK Charts and the single "13 Steps Lead Down" reached number 6 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks.
Elvis Costello got his start in the English pub rock scene but his true rise to fame came in the late 70s with the second British invasion of punk and new wave artists. Several of his albums have appeared on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and the musician has also been named number 80 on their list of 100 Greatest Artists of All time.
