This sweet vintage tee is for the English alternative rock band EMF. The group was formed in Gloucestershire at the end of the 80s, and they took their name from a New Order fan club, which was titled Epsom Mad Funkers. The founding members of the group, James Atkin, Derry Brownson, Mark Decloedt, Ian Dench, and Zac Foley, were all fairly well known in the local Forest of Dean music scene, before they chose to join together. They gained international success with their debut single "Unbelievable" which preceded the release of their debut album Schubert Dip in 1991.
Although their subsequent releases never reached the same level of popularity as their debut, the band recorded two other studio albums in the 90s: Stigma and Cha Cha Cha. Shortly after the release of Cha Cha Cha in 1995, the group chose to go on a hiatus, although all of the members continued to pursue music. EMF would continue to periodically reunite throughout the early 2000s, and in 2022 they released their first album of new material in 27 years.
