This sweet shirt was made in anticipation of one of the biggest boxing events to never come to fruition. It was made in honor of the 1991 heavyweight championship match between the defending champion Evander Holyfield and the infamous "Kid Dynamite" Mike Tyson.
Boxing fans were eager to see the two athletes square up at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas in November of '91, but the fight had to be delayed and eventually shelved after Tyson was convicted of rape. It wouldn't be until 1996, that Tyson and Holyfield would finally face each other. Holyfield's upset victory would also lead to a notorious rematch, in which Tyson famously was disqualified for biting off a chunk of Holyfield's ear.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt is deadstock, unworn. There is a possibility of shrinkage in the wash.
