This sweet double-sided wrestling tee reps the iconic Stone Cold Steve Austin of the WWF, and it reads, "In Steve we trust" and "Austin 3:16". Austin was integral to the success of the World Wrestling Federation during its Attitude Era in the late 90s. While he started his pro wrestling career with the WCW, it wasn't until Austin joined the WWF in 1995 with a revamped persona, that he really took off as a star in the ring. Billed as a brash and short-tempered anti-hero, Austin earned the nickname "Stone Cold", and he became known for his iconic catchphrases.
Possibly the most famous of Stone Cold's quips was "Austin 3:16", which originated during a 1996 King of the Ring match against Jake "The Snake" Roberts. Austin actually ad-libbed this beloved line, which was meant to parody the popular Bible verse John 3:16, as Roberts' character was a born-again Christian. At the end of that same match, Austin came up with another memorable ad-lib, "and that's the bottom line, cause Stone Cold said so".
Fits like a modern unisex adult large. This shirt is deadstock, unworn.
