This amazing double-sided tee promotes the 1991 sci fi action flick Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Like the first Terminator movie, the sequel was directed by James Cameron and starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton, who reprised their roles as the T-800 and Sarah Connor respectively. This second installment introduced a more advanced Terminator model known as the T-1000, a shape shifting assassin which is sent back in time to eliminate Sarah's son, John Connor.

Plans for creating a sequel to The Terminator arose shortly after its release, but the project was prolonged for two main reasons. The first was an intellectual property dispute between Hemdale Film Corporation and Carolco Pictures. The second, was the matter of technical limitations regarding computer-generated imagery at the time. CGI was an important element needed to bring the T-1000 to life, and the use of the technology was the most ambitious since the films Tron and The Last Starfighter. Practical effects were also used in the film, provided by Stan Winston, who was also known for his work on the Jurassic Park films, Aliens, and two of the Predator films.

T2 was a huge success upon its release and many critics consider it to be even better than the original. It became the highest grossing film of 1991, and spawned another sequel Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
