This vintage pocket tee is totally blank on the front, but the back features a large graphic commemorating the 1991 solar eclipse. The graphic reads "Totality Over Hawaii" and includes the date of the event, July 11, 1991. Solar eclipses occur when the moon passes between the Earth and the Sun. The result is a unique visual that obscures humanity's view of the Sun. In 1991, Hawaii, Mexico, and Central America were treated to an incredible view of the eclipse which totally blocked out the Sun for nearly seven whole minutes.
