This sweet vintage shirt pays tribute to the band Urge Overkill and it features their UO logo as it appears on the cover of their fourth studio album Saturation. The record was released in 1993 and produced by Phil and Joe Nicolo, better known as the Butcher Bros, who have also worked with Bob Dylan, Cypress Hill, Nine Inch Nails, and Anthrax. Saturation marked the band's first release with Geffen Records, and it was notable for having Nash Kato sing lead on the majority of the tracks, as opposed to their usual lead vocalist, King Roeser.
Saturation spawned one of the band's most memorable hits, "Sister Havana", which breached the top ten of both the modern and mainstream rock charts. It also included the minor radio hit, "Positive Bleeding". During this period, Urge Overkill managed to gain attention by opening for heavy hitters in the 90s alternative rock scene. They supported Nirvana during the band's Nevermind Tour and then joined Pearl Jam on their Vs. Tour. They also gained notoriety when Quentin Taratino used their cover of Neil Diamond's "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon" in his cult hit, Pulp Fiction.
Fits like a modern unisex adult XXL or 2XL. There is a repair on the back, see pics.
