This amazing all over print t-shirt celebrates the World Wrestling Federation, and it was made during the tail end of the franchise's Golden Era. The Golden Era began in the 80s after Vincent K. McMahon seized control over the company from his father. McMahon trademarked the initials WWF, and began signing major superstars like Hulk Hogan, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, and Jesse "The Body" Ventura. This shirt showcases a variety of wrestlers that were also signed, including "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Ric Flair, and Yokozuna.
By the beginning of the 90s, popularity was down as a result of bad press surrounding a steroid scandal. This was combated with the introduction of new talent, which included wrestlers like Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Lex Luger, and The Undertaker. It was during this New Generation Era that the WWF ended up launching their signature prime time cable program Monday Night Raw. By the end of the 90s, the WWF was back on top, and known for superstars like Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock.
