This awesome double-sided tour shirt is for the English musician David Bowie and it commemorates his Sound+Vision Tour. The 1990 concert tour was billed as a greatest hits tour where Bowie would perform his back catalogue of songs one last time before retiring them from live performance. Beginning in Quebec City, Bowie played 108 shows in 27 different countries.
At the time Bowie was looking for a way to reignite himself artistically. His previous albums Tonight and Never Let Me Down had been dismissed by critics. Bowie felt that getting rid of his back catalogue of songs for tours would spur him to keep creating new things. The setlists for performances was determined by a voting system where people called a 1-900 number to request their favorite songs. Money from the calls was donated to Save the Children and a Brixton charity. Some of the most requested songs included "Let's Dance", "Changes", "Fame", "Heroes", and "Blue Jean".
Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. This shirt is deadstock, unworn.
