This awesome packaged t-shirt has an epic graphic of the Marvel superhero team the Avengers, including the characters Captain America, She-Hulk, Namor, Captain Marvel, Dr. Druid, and Black Knight. At the center of the image is the mighty Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, and the graphic is actually taken from the cover of the comic Thor #390.

This comic had Thor teaming up with the Avengers to fight Seth, the Serpent-God of Death and his loyal follower Grog. During the epic battle, Captain America lifts Thor's hammer Mjolnir, proving that he is worthy enough to wield the enchanted Asgardian weapon. The comic was a collaboration between Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz, a dynamic team that had established themselves working together on The Amazing Spider-Man. The pair were responsible for Spider-Man's "black suit", which was later revealed to be an alien creature.

The graphic featured here was also inked by Brett Breeding, who worked extensively with Frenz throughout his career. Funnily enough, the first time Breeding provided the inks for Frenz was on The Amazing Spider-Man #252, the comic that introduced the hero's "black suit".
