This awesome shirt features a portrait of the DC Comics hero Batman from the 1995 film Batman Forever. Although this movie was considered a sequel to Warner Bros.' other live action Batman films that were directed by Tim Burton, Burton only served as a producer for this third installment. Joel Schumacher, who was known for St. Elmo's Fire and The Lost Boys, stepped into the director's chair, and as a result Batman Forever had a distinctly different tone than the previous two Batman adaptations.

Schumacher's Batman was much more colorful, campy, and akin to the old 1960s television series. The film also saw Val Kilmer step in for the role of the titular Caped Crusader. Kilmer was joined by Chris O'Donnell as Robin, and the dynamic duo were cast opposite Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones as the villains the Riddler and Two-Face. Despite teaming up on screen, Jones reportedly did not get along with Carrey, and even told his fellow co-star, "I cannot sanction your buffoonery".
