This shirt was made back in the 70s and it sports the classic Blue Bar Champion tag. The shirt promotes the 1975 film Lepke, which starred Tony Curtis as a Jewish-American gangster named Louis "Lepke" Buchalter. The film also featured Michael Callan and Ajanette Comer. The movie was directed by Israeli filmmaker Menahem Golan, who had already established a successful career in his home country, but wanted to break into the Hollywood industry. Critics praised Curtis's performance in Lepke, and many of them consider it to be one of the most underrated roles of his career.

The film was inspired by real life gangsters who were alive during the 1930s, and the actual Louis Lepke was the head of the hit squad known as Murder, Inc. He was one of the premier labor racketeers in New York during that time period.

Fits like a modern unisex adult small. There are very light spots, see pics.
