This cool tee is to honor The Three Stooges. The popular comedy trio was made up of Larry, Moe and Curly, and they got their start performing vaudeville and later made tons of films.

The Three Stooges operated in a world of slapstick and physical comedy. "Stooges," was film industry slang for on-stage assistant. The act was started when lead comedian Ted Healy was using the Stooges as back-up characters. Healy soon became overshadowed by his extras and in 1934 the trio was given a contract from Columbia Pictures. Unfortunately in 1946 the premature death of Curly put a halt to the showbiz success. Though the trio was never aware of how successful they truly were and got exploited by early Hollywood. It was not until the 80s that the Stooges started receiving critical acclaim, while Columbia was re-releasing volumes of their content.
