This awesome 80s shirt is for the black women's organization, the Eta Phi Beta sorority. The group was founded in 1942 by a group of women who were attending Lewis Business College in Detroit at the time. This founding group was composed of Ivy Burt Banks, Katherine Douglas, Mae Edwards Curry, Earline Carter, Dorothy Sylvers Brown, Merry Green Hubbard, Ethel Madison, Ann Porter, Lena Reed, Atheline Shelton Graham, and Mattie Rankin. Their goal was to create close fellowships between business and professional women and to obtain opportunities for the highest standards. The group is also an affiliate of the National Council of Negro Women or NCNW.
