This amazing vintage tee comes from Laidlaw's Harley-Davidson dealership in San Gabriel, California. Founded by Bob Laidlaw, the small shop opened as a licensed Harley-Davidson dealer in 1958. Eventually, word spread that this unassuming shop in the San Gabriel Valley was a place where someone could get a quality Harley for a modest price and have it maintained by a qualified crew. The shop eventually moved to a much larger location in Baldwin Park, a city in Los Angeles County, where it continues to be family owned and operated.

This t-shirt dates all the way back to the 1960s, as shown by its unique Champion tag that features the classic Running Man logo. The logo appeared on the brand's early merch tags in the 1940s, and was eventually phased out by the end of the 60s. That means that this t-shirt is from the early days of the locally loved Laidlaw dealership.

Harley-Davidson is one of, if not the most, recognizable motorcycle brand in the world. Through decades of ups and downs, Harley has established an extremely loyal and devoted following. There are hundreds of licensed dealerships like Laidlaw's all over the world, and many of them host Harley Owners Group, or HOG, chapters. HOG, called the "granddaddy of all community-building efforts," is a brand sponsored club for Harley riders. The only stipulation for joining is that members own at least one Harley-Davidson bike, and chapters host rallies or other events to create a sense of community and fund raise for charities like the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the official charity of HOG. This shirt actually manages to out date the creation of HOG, as the owners group wasn't established until the early 1980s.

Tag says medium but fits like a modern unisex adult small. Hole near collar on back, see pics.
