This black band t-shirt is for the awesome English heavy metal band Black Sabbath and the shirt celebrates their Mob Rules Tour from 1981. The tour promoted their album of the same name, which was released by Record Planet. This was only the second album to feature Ronnie James Dio as the lead vocalist. The first song recorded for the album was the title track "The Mob Rules". It was recorded at John Lennon's house in England and used for the soundtrack to the animated anthology film Heavy Metal.
The Mob Rules Tour resulted in a live album called Live Evil which was released in 1982, and it peaked at the number 37 spot on the Billboard Pop Albums chart. Live Evil actually lead to tension within the band as guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler suspected that Dio was sneaking into the studio at night to boost the volume of his vocals on the tracks. Dio meanwhile had his own grievances with the group and was later quoted saying that he refuses to listen to the album as it has too many problems. Dio ended up leaving to start his own band, and the remaining members of Black Sabbath held auditons for a new lead singer, eventually deciding on former Deep Purple vocalist Ian Gillan.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small. There is some hanger fade on the shoulders, see pics.
