BOC are best remembered for their hit songs "(Don't Fear) The Reaper", "Godzilla", and "Burnin' for You" which was off the group's 1981 album, Fire of Unknown Origin. This album was a commercial success and was the first album for the band to achieve gold status since Spectres in 1977. The band also received heavy rotation on the recently launched MTV around this time. However, after the release of Fire of Unknown Origin, drummer Albert Bouchard had a falling out with the rest of the band and subsequently left. Bouchard's departure marked the end of the most iconic line up of the group, consisting of Albert Bouchard, Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser, "Eric Bloom", Allen Lanier, and Joe Boucahrd
