This wonderful t-shirt was made in 1982 to celebrate the opening of Epcot Center. This was the second theme park to open as a part of the Walt Disney World Resort complex in Florida, and the park is themed around technological advancement and international culture. This shirt features a graphic of Figment, the mascot of the Imagination! pavilion, which was unveiled during the park's opening.

Figment was created by Tony Baxter, the same creative mind behind other Disney attractions such as Splash Mountain, Star Tours, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Figment first appeared as the star of Journey Into Imagination, a dark ride where guests were led through an adventure alongside Figment and the Dreamfinder. In this attraction, the lovable purple dragon was voiced by Billy Barty, the founder of Little People of America.
