This vintage muscle tank is patterned to resemble the Union Jack flag, and it's been personalized with flocked letters that spell out, "Fuck the Stone Roses". This looks like it could have been an early homemade piece of merch for the Stone Roses, a rock band that was formed in Manchester, England in 1983.
The group only ever released two studio albums. The first was a eponymous debut album released in 1989, which wound up being a breakthrough success. Some critics have even lauded it as one of the greatest British albums ever recorded. Despite this, their next release wouldn't come out until 1994, and this was mostly due to a lengthy legal battle between the band and their record label Silvertone. The group wasn't happy with how they'd been compensated by the label, but Silvertone was reluctant to let them out of their contract. The band eventually signed with Geffen Records in 1991 and later released the album Second Coming.
The tag says medium but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small. The black box in the photos is for censorship purposes. It does not appear on the actual shirt.
