The 80s were also when Michael Eisner stepped in as CEO of the company, and during this era Disney attempted to broaden their appeal by creating more television series and movies aimed at older audiences. By the end of the decade they were leading the US box office with hits like Three Men and a Baby, Good Morning, Vietnam, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
