This funny double-sided shirt was the signature tee designed to advertise Klipsch Audio Technologies, also known as Klipsch Speakers, a company founded by Paul W. Klipsch. The shirt features the famous slogan of the loudspeaker business on the back, "Bullshit!" According to company legend, this exclamation was originally uttered by Klipsch when he was reading a magazine article describing the supposedly breakthrough technology of the AR-3A speakers. Klipsch apparently never had a problem calling out the bull spread by competing loudspeaker advertisements, and the ad agency workers who were in the office to hear this famous exclamation decided it would be perfect for a t-shirt.

In 1975, the "Klipschirt" made its debut, and every employee at the company was granted one for a group photo. Not long after that, a University of Arkansas student was apparently kicked out of class for choosing to sport the cheeky tee. Klipsch was happy to pay for the student's legal counsel.
