This sweet graphic tee commemorates the 1990 Winter Run, sponsored by Blount and the MTRC. Also known as the Montgomery Track and Running Club, the MTRC produced dozens of annual races in the Montgomery, Alabama metro area. This event took place in Wetumpka, a small city outside of Montgomery, and it included both a 5k and 10k race. The Winter Run was most likely a part of the city's larger winter event called Christmas on the Coosa. Named for the river that runs through the city, Christmas on the Coosa was a month-long series of events leading up to Christmas, and it involved things like fireworks displays, boat parades, and a Miss Christmas Pageant.
